Oh mom, sleep is overrated! Boy do I remember those days, Cait's stuff would just gradually take over the living room then move on to ours . . . I used to threaten to light a match, it sometimes worked, just a thought! Great shot, Kathy
LOL! That's funny! We give him one chance to pick his stuff up, and then we tell him that WE will clean it up.....and if WE clean it up....in the garbage it goes! It works every time! LOL!
Count your lucky stars! Looks like Jameson knows how to keep himself occupied, not like so many kids who need to be entertained these days. Of course, waking up in the middle of the night with a Transformer in your ear doesn't sound like much fun, LOL
Oh, just enjoy every minute of them as kids taking over your room. It'll be over so soon and then you'll miss it dearly. I now even miss our daughter wetting our bed! Just knowing those days are gone forever makes them even more sweet. I know, only a mother's love, huh.
I am a small-town, Southern gal. I have been married to the love of my life for 24 years, and have four wonderful kids...a 21 y.o. daughter and a 10 y.o. son, and also a son and a daughter already in Heaven. We are members of The Church of Christ and are trying to raise our children to be faithful followers of Christ. I am a phone triage nurse for a busy OB/GYN office near Atlanta, but spend most of my time at home in Alabama with my family. We have just built a house after living in our "starter home" for twenty years. We did a lot of the work ourselves, and still have a TON of work to do.
I love to be "crafty", but am often guilty of buying all of the supplies to make something, and just never finishing it. "Not finishing things" seems to be a theme with me, hence the word "Slacker" in my blog title. I am hoping this little blog will motivate me to complete the tasks I've started!
