I never know what to say or how to say what I feel on Memorial Day. I don't think anything I could come up with could even begin to explain how much gratitude I have for all of service men and women, and their families, who have sacrificed everything for the rest of us!
Thankfully, I have friends who write much more eloquently than I do. Please head on over to read Barb at Grit's and Glamour's beautifully written tribute!

Robin, the fact that you remember the meaning of Memorial Day is a tribute in itself. And I agree, Barb's post is beautifully expressed. Have a wonderful day with your family. Kathy
ReplyDeleteI watched the the ceremony held in Washington DC, on TV. I was moved to tears. I, for one, take so much for granted. I need to pause more often to be grateful for those who gave so much.
