LMAO! that's a preteen for ya! and yes, mama.. it gets worse! sorry.. but they eventually decide to spend about 90% of their time, in their room.. the rest is food, money, or a ride somewhere...LOL don't worry though.. they still have time for the brief hug as they pass ya on the way to their room. ;) can ya tell we're deep in that trench right now?!
This is too cute. A friend once told me that she thought her boys were much moodier than her girls, she would get a big kick and an "I told you so" out of this! Kathy
I am a small-town, Southern gal. I have been married to the love of my life for 24 years, and have four wonderful kids...a 21 y.o. daughter and a 10 y.o. son, and also a son and a daughter already in Heaven. We are members of The Church of Christ and are trying to raise our children to be faithful followers of Christ. I am a phone triage nurse for a busy OB/GYN office near Atlanta, but spend most of my time at home in Alabama with my family. We have just built a house after living in our "starter home" for twenty years. We did a lot of the work ourselves, and still have a TON of work to do.
I love to be "crafty", but am often guilty of buying all of the supplies to make something, and just never finishing it. "Not finishing things" seems to be a theme with me, hence the word "Slacker" in my blog title. I am hoping this little blog will motivate me to complete the tasks I've started!
