They're never anywhere to be found, that's where! ;) I'm sure that the kids' Christmas joy was big enough to make up for the mess you're facing now. :)
no help cleaning up here either but the DS Rocks for keeping them busy while I'm doing my thing both my girls got them this year and haven't put them down yet... :)
Unfortunately, I think they are already back at the North Pole preparing for next year's mess lol. Looks like everyone had a great day. Have a wonderful week and a Happy New Year! Kathy
Those little hummers head back to the North Pole!!! My house was just like this!! It's all about the kids, though mine are 17 and 20 now and I had to wake THEM up at 9:00 a.m.!!
I hear they are on strike, something about having to work the Holiday, no days off until Dec. 26, blah blah blah, lol. PS your tree and gifts below looked beautiful! Sue
I am a small-town, Southern gal. I have been married to the love of my life for 24 years, and have four wonderful kids...a 21 y.o. daughter and a 10 y.o. son, and also a son and a daughter already in Heaven. We are members of The Church of Christ and are trying to raise our children to be faithful followers of Christ. I am a phone triage nurse for a busy OB/GYN office near Atlanta, but spend most of my time at home in Alabama with my family. We have just built a house after living in our "starter home" for twenty years. We did a lot of the work ourselves, and still have a TON of work to do.
I love to be "crafty", but am often guilty of buying all of the supplies to make something, and just never finishing it. "Not finishing things" seems to be a theme with me, hence the word "Slacker" in my blog title. I am hoping this little blog will motivate me to complete the tasks I've started!
