Laundry...

The thing in this world of "Housework" that I hate the most. I don't mind washing it (I love my clothes to be clean), and I don't mind drying it (I like my clothes to be dry and smell good)....it's what happens AFTER the drying that I hate. Why can't all of my clothes just jump out of the dryer and go where it needs to be? The shirts and pants would be neatly on their hangers, the socks would be matched and put away, the towels would be neatly folded and arranged beautifully in their cabinet, and the underware would be neatly folded and hidden away for my eyes only. Unfortunately, my dryer didn't come from the Jetson's era, so I have this instead....

MOUNTAINS of clean laundry to greet me on my days off!
WOOOOOOO HOOOOOO!
(Oh, and about the lack of bedding on the bed.....Jameson decided he wanted to eat his waffles in bed....MY BED...yesterday morning, and GUESS where the syrup ended up?)

Well, last night my husband decided he actually wanted to SLEEP in OUR bed (picky, picky), so I had to tackle that mountain. SO.....here is this morning's view....

TAHHHHH DAHHHHHHH!
What a difference a day makes! (Not to mention the phone call I got last night from my sister-in-law saying she was coming for a "visit" this morning...I just hope she doesn't look in my closets..EEEK!)

  2. Thanks Kori! It's called "creative photography"...lol! Seriously, the comforter set is Wal-Mart (as well as the pillows and curtains), the mirrors and lamps are Kirkland's clearance specials, the night stands are Target clearance, and I made the "art" above the bed. this house has to be decorated "on the cheap"! The bedroom is one of the few rooms that have anything in it!

  6. Barb, that really means a lot coming from you! THANK YOU!!!

OH, just a little tip (that I found out after much trial), GLUE DOTS are great for sticking ribbon and paper to the styrofoam!

  7. Poor Jameson! Always getting the blame. Anyway, you're supposed to fold the clothes as you take them out of the dryer. I've found that makes for a much neater looking bed.

  8. Yeah Kathy, I know....Poor Jameson just has it so rough!
I don't have anywhere to put the "folded" clothes when I take them out of the dryer....except on top of the dryer and that is WAAAAY too small! Besides, it's much more fun doing it this way!LOL
