looks like you had a wonderful day.. and that makes me smile! by the way, we thought of you when we had our 'peeps' this weekend! LOL even crossed our minds to pop them in the microwave..hehe but alas, the little buggers ended up in our tummys! :P
Sorry I didn't make it by yesterday. I eat waaaayyy too much ham and potato salad and deviled eggs and cabbage and...well, you get the idea. I was stuffed like an Easter Basket! LOL I love all your pics - what a beautiful family! Glad to hear you had a great day! Hugs, Barb
These are such cute cupcakes! My grandchildren will love them even if they are made after Easter. I can't wait to try the cake recipe. It sounds like such fun! Thanks.
I am a small-town, Southern gal. I have been married to the love of my life for 24 years, and have four wonderful kids...a 21 y.o. daughter and a 10 y.o. son, and also a son and a daughter already in Heaven. We are members of The Church of Christ and are trying to raise our children to be faithful followers of Christ. I am a phone triage nurse for a busy OB/GYN office near Atlanta, but spend most of my time at home in Alabama with my family. We have just built a house after living in our "starter home" for twenty years. We did a lot of the work ourselves, and still have a TON of work to do.
I love to be "crafty", but am often guilty of buying all of the supplies to make something, and just never finishing it. "Not finishing things" seems to be a theme with me, hence the word "Slacker" in my blog title. I am hoping this little blog will motivate me to complete the tasks I've started!
I hope you have a Blessed and Happy Easter. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteYou are such a beautiful family. I just got home from church and opened my blog to these wonderful pictures. It's a joyous Easter. Hugs, Marla

I would love to know where you got your blouse.
Thanks to all of you! We really had a wonderful day today!!
ReplyDeleteKori, the blouse came from Dress Barn several months ago. I love those kinds of shirts because you can wash, dry and wear...no ironing needed!
