Even though having a "special needs" child is rough, it is great to know that as long as we let her, she will still believe in Santa Clause....and we plan to let her believe as long as we can!
That's wonderful! Ya know, I STILL BELIEVE! :) I have 4 kids ranging from 7 to 25 who wouldn't DARE say (in front of me) that they don't believe! Well, Tucker truly DOES still believe. But this is the first year that Perri hasn't written a letter to the big guy, which makes me sad. But at 12, she held on a lot longer than most. I think the last couple of years she mostly did it for Tucker's sake, but still...
What a wonderful thing! When my Nikki came to me and ask me if there was a santa, I said do you want to know the truth? And she said, yes, then when I told her she cried, so I cried, and she said I wish you would have lied, you cant win, lol!
Robin - I am 45 and you know what? I still believe too. I love this pic...what an awesome Santa? Cole arrives Saturday nite and we are heading to the mall Sunday to get pics with Santa...Santa will have to hold the baby. :)
I will post some pics. Hope you guys have a wonderful and blessed Christmas. Hugs, Barb
I am a small-town, Southern gal. I have been married to the love of my life for 24 years, and have four wonderful kids...a 21 y.o. daughter and a 10 y.o. son, and also a son and a daughter already in Heaven. We are members of The Church of Christ and are trying to raise our children to be faithful followers of Christ. I am a phone triage nurse for a busy OB/GYN office near Atlanta, but spend most of my time at home in Alabama with my family. We have just built a house after living in our "starter home" for twenty years. We did a lot of the work ourselves, and still have a TON of work to do.
I love to be "crafty", but am often guilty of buying all of the supplies to make something, and just never finishing it. "Not finishing things" seems to be a theme with me, hence the word "Slacker" in my blog title. I am hoping this little blog will motivate me to complete the tasks I've started!
How fun! There's something magical about Christmas morning when they are little ones around that still believe :)
ReplyDeleteHow sweet Robin! Here's something I did for Logan this morning if you want to do it for Chelsea & Jameson. Great picture!

This link is by far the coolest thing I've seen in a while & I can't wait for the boys to get home so Logan can see his message!
