Nature's Decorating.

For the first time that I can ever remember, it snowed for the SECOND time in a single Winter!  The kids were beside themselves with excitement!  When they went to bed Thursday night, they thought school would be dismissed, however, no such luck for our district.

So, they got up and at 'em, and headed to school for their Valentine's Day parties. 

Here's their loot.

During the party, they announced that school would let out early....as in 45 minutes from then.....so Chelsea went with me to pick up Jameson at his party. Not only did Jameson have his Valentine's Day party, but it was also Pajama day and hat day.

By the time we made it home, the snow was coming down HARD. Jameson threw some gloves and a toboggan on and was out the door. I only saw him one time before dark when he came in to change into some dry clothes.

The only pictures I was able to get of him was with my telephoto lens...lol

We woke up this morning to blue skies and frozen snow. Jameson wolfed down his breakfast and was soon out the door again. I think this kid would do just fine in Alaska. Since I couldn't pin him down for pictures, I just took pictures of the rest of the environment.

I finally got him to be still long enough to get a good picture!

"OK, OK.....can I go back a play some more NOW?"

That is some well-worn snow right there!

As I am sitting here typing this, most of the snow is melting away....much to Jameson's dismay.

Here's hoping it won't be another 8 years before we see the white stuff again!
