Hubby has been working major overtime over the past few weeks.
We've not had a good, uninterrupted weekend in a long time.
Don't get me wrong, we are very thankful he has a great job, and the extra money is always appreciated....
But man, I miss my husband!
Sunday morning, Marty had worked all night long, and crawled into bed just as we were getting up and getting ready for Church.
I felt so bad for him.....he was so tired.
Then I went to the refrigerator and found this inside...
WOW!
Isn't that sweet?
As tired as he was, he still managed to bring us breakfast AND leave a little love note in the process.
Then, Tuesday night, as we both crawled in from a long day at work, he surprised me with this....
Nothing dramatic, nothing spectacular, but just one beautiful red rose.
PERFECT.
How did I get so lucky to have this wonderful man in my life?
I'm not lucky, I am BLESSED!
Thank you God for this wonderful man I get to spend the rest of my life with!
(Now, if you could just get him to finish the rock, he would be perfect....lol)
Aww...that is too sweet! What a thoughtful and loving husband. You both make a great team. Thanks for sharing! ~Liz

ReplyDeleteI love this post Robin. Romance lives! Sometimes it's the little, thoughtful gestures that mean the most. Nothing extravagant, but just an "I'm thinking of you" thing. Good for Marty! Kathy
ReplyDeleteYou know, he could do something nice for one of his nieces every now and then too! Or he could at least tell one of his nephew in law's how to do it, haha.
