It was a perfect day for a parade!

Last Friday was our school's homecoming parade.  The weather was perfect...blue skies, cool breezes, and sunshine galore!  We've always gone to the parade, but this year it was really special because Chelsea got to ride on one of the floats!  The "Lunch Bunch" made a spectacular float, and invited Chelsea to ride along with them since she's been working with them this year.  She was SO excited!

This is the whole gang right after the parade was over, but I thought it was the absolute best picture of the night!

Seriously hysterical picture!

We have the marching band...

They had Cheerleaders...

Football players....

More football players....

Seriously flat tire on the trailer carrying football players....

More cheerleaders...

More football players...

Precious Dance Line....

Baton twirlers...

This is Paul, a family friend who is also the editor of the Munford newspaper...

Yes, even MORE cheerleaders....

And even more football players...

 Yes, more cheerleaders...

More football players...

And finally, the last of the cheerleaders...

And the last of the football players...

If anything, Munford has an awesome youth athletics department!

I LOVED this idea for one of the homecoming queen candidates.  With as many farmers as we have around here, I'm surprised this hasn't been done before!

Senior float:

Great float by our new local grocery store:

Another great float by our local pharmacy:

As much as I loved the tractor, THIS has to be the best idea for a homecoming queen ever!  Who doesn't love the Ice Cream Truck?  She won homecoming queen, too!

Here's my Chelsea-Belle going by!

And Jenny and her grandchildren riding her horses.  Everyone LOVED seeing them ride by!

We all had the best time!  Everybody who went talked about how great the parade was this year.

Homecoming week ended with a HUGE win by our Munford Lions!

GO BIG RED!

I don't think it could have been more perfect!
