Since today was Chelsea's very last day of school, ever, I wanted to make a little something special for her to give all her teachers, co-workers, and classmates. We thought about it for a while, and finally decided to make some cute little owls and fill them candy. It tuned out to be a pretty big task (each little piece is cut and attached separately), but in the end, they turned out great!
I filled them with Hersey's Hugs and Hershey's Kisses. Get it?
Hugs and Kisses!
And some of them had little stickers on the bottoms that also said "Owl Miss You!"
I made enough for Chelsea's teachers, her classmates, and the lunch room ladies.....but after going on a school-wide giving spree, her classmates and classroom helpers didn't get one. Just about every teacher, aid, custodian, and helper in the school got one though. But as Mrs. Ingram (her teacher) said, the adults would appreciate them more than the kids would, anyway. They did seem to truly appreciate the thought. I don't think they realize how much ALL of them have blessed our lives by loving and caring for our Chelsea-Belle.
I can't believe that this era is over for Chelsea.
Now on to new adventures!
