Independence Day Hangover.....

WOW! I haven't had a drop of alcohol to drink in over 17 years, but this morning I feel like I spent the night partying at the bar with my friends....

Except my kids were with me.....

And a ton of nieces and nephews were there.....

My mother-in-law was there......

There was a pony involved.....

And a slip-and-slide that made my Podunk, Alabama Water Park look like chopped liver.....

And Fireworks......

And FOOD....

Lots and lots of FOOD!

Table with fixin's

If you look between two of my gorgeous nieces, Tess and Shelby (HEY SHEBLY!), you will see the PILES of meat we had to eat.

Ribs, Hamburgers, Pork Chops, Hot Dogs.....

OK, I am DROOLING again....

My first of many plate.

Homemade Cheesecake bites that my niece Stephanie made. They tasted even better than they looked!!

And this made-from-scratch red velvet cake made by my niece Tess.

DELICIOUS!

Fortunately, Jameson was there to provide security.

Chelsea looking all festive!

After the food, then Marty's sister, Debbie, surprised the kids with Pony Rides!

Jameson had a ball.

Chelsea didn't want ANYTHING to do with the ponies, so she decided to paint her nails instead....

Then, on to the mother of all slip-and-slides....

Then the day winded down with homemade ice cream (unfortunately, it was gone by the time I got back from dropping Chelsea off with her Nana) and fireworks.

Just pretend the picture is great! LOL!

I hope you all had a fantastic and wonderful Independence Day!!

I am off to find something to take for this WAAAY TOO MUCH FOOD, FUN, AND EXCITEMENT hangover!
