OK, this is a quick follow-up to my last post.
Last night was our first night sleeping under our new Duvet Cover.
I didn't sleep a WINK!
UGH!
It was too heavy, too hot, and too slippery!
Well, that's not the real reason I didn't sleep.....
Every time I dozed off, I dreamt that my old comforter was suffocating in her new dress.
How messed up is that?
I mean, I don't want to be the cause of the demise of my old faithful comforter!
I know, I know.....
I'll try it again for at least ONE more night.
**sheesh**
How come change has to be so hard?
ahhahha, you are funny, sleep tight tonite..xx
ReplyDeleteLOL.. just read the post about blankie! you are one funny lady robin!! :D just think of her wearing a new party dress.. and all will be great and you will sleep like a baby!
ReplyDeleteHang in there. You'll get used to it, but it's probably going to take more than two nights. I like it, though.
ReplyDeleteHope tonight is better! However, I can understand why it would throw you out of sorts -- as a card carrying member of the Creatures of Habit Club, new bedding would throw me for a loop too.
ReplyDeleteSending lots of love your way!!
Oh this is hysterical! You know, I have known alot of people you use their duvey OVER their stuff, not with anything inside it. So, maybe you could use it that way and fold it down at night. Steve is so hot natured he would literally smother if we left our comforter up at night! It's worth a shot...poor blankie...

What is a flippin duvey?? Duvet! Duvet! That's what I meant to type!
ReplyDeleteAwww poor blankie!! Her new "dress" is too tight. Just take out a few stitches and she'll be fine. LOL You, however, will need a week or two to adjust. I have total faith in you though!

My dear sweet friend, I think you are a bit crazy!! Generally speaking, when I lie my head down, I am out in minutes, try not to think about it and I sure hope you sleep better tonite! Sue
ReplyDeleteThere's no way I would sleep, either, with a new blankie! I can sympathize!!!
ReplyDeletethank you Robin! i have missed getting to keep better eye on your blog too!! can't wait to be neighbors in a few months!!! i see many fun times in our future! :D
ReplyDeleteI am still laughing. Sweetie, it's going to to take longer than 2 nights to grow used to it. I don't know what to tell you to do. We sleep with a down comforter inside a duvet and then a another comforter on top of that this time of year when it's wet wet wet and cold cold cold outside (Seattle).
ReplyDeleteYou make me laugh and I love it.
