This Slacker Mama has been Slacking!

Hey y'all!

Sorry I've been missing for the past week.

I don't know if it's the horrible heat, my toothache, a super-crazy work week, or just slacking on my part,

But I've just had ZERO motivation to get anything done over the past week!

The house is a wreck, I haven't cooked a full meal since the weekend, the pantry is bare, and 

Wednesday night, I slept TWELVE straight hours.

TWELVE!

This coming from a gal who normally only gets about FIVE hours per night.

I don't know what's going on, but I'm ready to be back to my old semi-slacker self!

We had a great Fourth of July!

We spent the afternoon at my mother-in-law's house, for food, fireworks and fun!

No, Chelsea isn't in pain, just a really bad picture....but it's a great picture of Shelby, so I just had to share...lol

Jameson isn't a big fan of loud noises...

He decided he had enough of the loud noises and decided to play some Twister, instead.

And, I may have slipped out for a couple of hours, with Chelsea and my niece, Shelby, to catch a little widely-unknown movie....

I know most of y'all probably haven't heard of this little flick, but it's REALLY, REALLY good!

You should try to see it, that is, if you can find a theater that is showing it.

And finally, here is a couple of updated pictures of our newest family member, Starr.

I have been trying for weeks to get at least ONE good picture of her, but she is so hyper, they are all blurry or only show half of her.

So, I just gave the camera to Jameson and told him to have at it....

He came in with THREE great picture of her!

What can I say, he's a dog whisperer!
